Every year at Christmas time, 37th Street in Austin celebrates by decorating out the ying-yang. Two highlights from this year.
The Stuffed Animal Rescue Foundation operated a Stuffed Animal Petting Zoo, which is exactly what it sounds like. It was an opportunity to meet the rescues and apply to become an adoptive parent to one of the stuffed foundlings. Each animal had a short background alongside, written in their voice. It’s amazing.
Next, we saw Santa playing the accordion.
